ABOUT ME
In 2006, my first website went live, marking quite a milestone—exactly three decades since my deep-seated passion for commercial aviation ignited. Since then, my fervour has taken me across the globe, aboard flights ranging from the conventional to the unconventional. With over 60 countries under my belt, my journey in pursuit of both vintage and modern airliners has been a long and time consuming one.
Being 'a child of the sixties' it is fair to say that I have quite a few life experiences. Born in London, to a Cornish father and East End mother, I have set down roots in various parts of the UK, mainland Europe and further afield over the years. I am now based on a non-working farm in deepest Somerset with Ian, my husband of two years, although we have been together for 35. We are very fortunate to have moved from London shortly before the first Covid lockdown and to have found our very own rural idyll with great friends around us and three goats who seem to have adopted us.
There is a common theme running through this site - I have been fanatical about aircraft since I was but a teenager. Over the years I have seen so many changes but my passion remains undiminished. I am very fortunate to have met a huge number of amazingly talented fellow enthusiasts over the years from around the world - so many of whom I am proud to call lifelong friends. I continue to reflect this passion in my work through the lens of my cameras. I cannot see that situation changing any time soon.
