This page features a small sample of work from my 'air'chive' focussing on a type of aircraft, a specific airport, photo location or a memorable trip. This gallery features the first tranche of shots of aircraft visiting London Heathrow in the 1980s. All the images have been scanned from prints or slides, hence the results are of a lower quality but that is offset by their historical value. For me, this was the decade where I started taking photos of aircraft as a logical development of my registration logging. This collection features a broad variety of airlines and operators many long gone, with a selection of aircraft types, many but a memory.
